Hired WP Plumbing for the following tasks in my condo:
(1) Replace a leaking toilet shutoff valve. Javier performed the work, which was flawless. Total cost, including parts, PEX conversion, and a 30-day limited warranty: $400 plus tax, according to ChatGPT at the high end of the price scale. Excellent and clean work, but I would have liked a longer warranty (at least 6 months).
(2) Replace a broken garbage disposal under the kitchen sink. Javier performed the work, which was also flawless. Total cost includes a 6-month limited warranty but not the replacement InSinkErator unit, which I had already purchased: $667 plus tax. According to ChatGPT, this is way beyond the high end of the price scale in this area. The work itself was excellent and very clean.
(3) Install a drain pan under the clothes washer; will review later.
(4) Replace a broken shower valve at the bathtub; will review later and adjust if needed.
(5) Replace the master water cutoff valve in the condo, which sits on a possibly flimsy CPVC pipe; will also review later.

Responded quickly, within an hour of my call. Texted me a picture of the technician when he was on the way. Informed me of the cost before making the repairs. Recommended I get a pressure reduction valve, but did not pressure me. Showed me a picture of the repair. The technician, Mario, was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I thought the price was a little high given that the repair was simple (replace a cracked T-joint), but the quick response and quality of repair made it worth it.
